Hey, Wonder how to use Photobie professionally?

Here are some examples for creating fancy logo, see the next two logo created with Photobie:

They are all created with Photobie together with Word's WordArt features.

First use MS word to create nice Art words,

Then use embedded screen capture feature to capture it into Photobie
See the capture in action:

Then you have it in Photobie main workspace. Now open the Sunset.jpg from Winxp sample images within Photobie. ---Till now you have all your component ready for making a nice Logo!

switch to the Logo image in Photobie and click on the color picker and point to the white point on the logo image, here is the screenshot:

After you pick the color and then click on the import color label button on the Layer manage toolbar to set that picked color as transparent.
Then you get the next screenshot (notice the transparent part, no longer white)

Then select a rectangle portion to copy, see screenshot:

Now paste it into sunset image, see screenshot:

Then set the transparent color for the newly pasted layer by first pick the transparent color, see screenshot:

After you click on the import color label button on the Layer manager, you will get the magic image:

Select the portion you want to be the final logo image:

paste as new image: Finally you have it:

Wow, you got it, the logo image you get will be exactly the same as the first logo in this post.

Isn't it simple and flexible, you can do some other retouching if you want to create even fancy stuff.

Photobie Text tool is much better than before, so you can create nice TEXT without using MS word, and follow other instruction to make perfect LOGO.

Also, you may need to use the Smudge tool to make the edges looks natural and perfect for these LOGOs
