Starting from version 2.8, Photobie now supports Photoshop filter plugins (with *.8bf as file extension).
What you need to do is to download those free plugins and put it under "Plugin" directory under the photobie installation directory. Yes just that simple. When Photobie is started, just go to the "Filter-->>Photoshop 8bf plugin-->>load/refresh filters in plugin directory" menu. Then all the plugin will be loaded, and you will be able to see those plugin list under the "Filter" menu underneath the Photoshop 8bf Plugin item. You can start to use these plugin now.
There are thousands of free photoshop plugins out there, which means you need to spend time to discover the real good ones. Well let's work together. In this page I will list few of those good ones and the ones I included in Photobie installation package. What you need to do is to post your discovery in the Photoshop filter plugin section of Photobie forum, and I will organize them to update this page. One little suggestion, since there is no guarrantee of the behavior of the plugins, which might cause the Photobie program crash; if you are doing some serious design work, please remember to save your work as .pob file frequently before trying any new plugins.
