Yes, one of the most popular usage with image editor is to blend images together. Here is the guide lines:
First, get two images opened in Photobie (you can use Ctrl+Tab to switch between images in Photobie main window).
Second, decide the primary image, then go to the secondary image, using the selection tools (most commonly used are polygon, freehand, and magic wand),you may need to change selection mode to get perfect selection. It is ok if the selection is little bit rough, you will use other tools later to deal with it. Then copy the selection.
Now, switch back to primary image, click paste, you will have a new layer for the selection portion from secondary image. You can resize, rotate, flip, change color balance, opacity(transparency) using the tools in layer manager toolbar, to make it fit into primary image
If there is some edges does look good, you can use eraser and smudge tool, which is the most wonderful tool, (remember to adjust pressure to get perfect result), to make edge disappear.
Sometime, you may want to clone the existing layer and overlay them with different opacity to make the images as a one piece.
There are many many tricks, which is hard to enumerate, however if you know above basic you will learn those tricks quickly.
You can provide some images here, and we will try to give detailed demo about how we do the blending and you will be able to see the result.
Hope it helps

I guess you want to create a photo collage with both photos in it as
Following are detailed screenshots and instruction of how I did it.
However, you can do more with it, please state what else you want to do with
it and I will try to work out based on your request.

Thanks for that much! Okay, I am wanting to know if there is any possible to make a "banner". Blend pictures in other words to make them pretty and look nice. For example... the following...
or
or just something along those lines, not that exact same, but somewhere near there |

Ok, It is really simple for creating such kind of banner with Photobie. You just need to learn more Photobie tools.
Note you need download Photobie 2.3.1 for some new features.
How about this banner I made from above Photos.
Please find full step by step screenshots at
http://photobie.com/Gallery/bannerdemo?page=1
(there are too many big images for this full demo, too slow to load with this post.
Please let me know if you want any other effects, you are very welcome to send me email to request my working .pob file for this (You can remove the PHOTOBIE text layer :D )
Cheers --Cheng 8)

No, The "Photobie" text I added is just trying to fill the blank space on the top right. If you follow the process showed above, you can definitely get rid of the extra text.
Anyway, I will put the new image without the Photobie text on it. Luckly, I still have the working .pob file with me. please check the previous one to see the new banner
Please let me know how does it work out for you, do you have any problem following the demo process?

Hi, Melissa
Welcome to Photobie forum. You are the 800 member here. What a luck number
To crop a photo, you need first to use the rectangle section tool to select the portion you want to keep. Then click on the Edit-->>Crop on top menu.
Save it as new image or simply overwrite the original one.
Just that simple.
Should you have any other question, please feel free to ask here.
Good luck |

I've had photobie for a while but have now really started creating banners and playing around with the images I have. I have created two to three animated banners. Just one question in terms of animation...HOW ON EARTH DO YOU SLOW THEM THINGS DOWN...lol?! _________________ Striving to succeed,

Hello aliciasr99 and welcome here.
When you are in the Animation control panel you will see ' delay (millisecond)' and a box beside that with a number in it. This sets the delay time, or the amount of time it takes to display each frame. The higher the number the slower the animation.
You can go up to say 2000 or higher but the animation will be real slow.
