can anybody tell me which is the polygon selection tool?

Sorry, there is no actual polygon selection tool, there is only free hand lasso.

Well, I guess I can add the real polygon selection tool in the next version since you may really need it.

Please keep checking this forum to see when it will be ready. Thanks

Good news, starting version 2.2.1 there is polygon selection tool as well as roundrectangle selection tool.

For polygon selection tool you simply click on the points and finished by a double click.
